As part of our application process with the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality, Apex Clean Energy is holding a public comment period and hosting a public meeting to collect feedback on the Rocky Forge Wind, LLC, permit application. The public comment period will run from May 5 to June 6, and a public meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 25, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Eagle Rock Library (55 Eagles Nest Drive, Eagle Rock, VA).

The May 25 public meeting is meant to be an opportunity for the public to learn about the project and to submit written or oral comments on the Rocky Forge Wind Permit by Rule application. There will be stations set up for visitors to provide written comments and an area to record audio commentary. After the public comment period ends, all forms of comment will be summarized and submitted to the DEQ.

In accordance with the regulations, a copy of documentation submitted to the Department of Environmental Quality in support of the Permit By Rule will be available for public review during the public comment period at the Eagle Rock Library (address above) during normal library hours.
